Got a nice couch. The owner was very polite and helpful. They provided speedy delivery for both products that I bought.

friendly service
I enjoyed shopping at this business because of the friendly, knowledgable staff that worked there. They offered most of the major styles and brands that any other furniture store will offer, but the fact that the sales people are so friendly and helpful without being overbearing is a refreshing change. When we purchased a set of bar stools from them and brought them home to discover that they were too tall for our counters, they gladly exchanged the stools without any hassle or extra paperwork (they even did this 5 minutes after closing!).

Great Furniture and Reasonable Prices!
We have bought a lot of our furntiure from Rife's. The store is always clean and well layed out. They don't have pushy sales people either. I always end up back at this store when I can't find what I am looking for at other places. They carry a great selection of items in all different prices ranges.

Deceptive practice, poor quality
My wife and I bought dining room chairs from the Rife's in Valley River Center six months ago. The rep that sold them to us claimed that they were extremely scratch-resistant, but all of the chairs are covered in scratches, dents, and the finish is flaking off. To have chairs that are this damaged from normal use is unacceptable. When we asked for our money back, as they used deceptive tactics (lying) to make the sale, the rep from Rife's informed me that their salespeople can say whatever they want because their invoices all state that manufacturer's warranty supersedes any claims made by Rife's representatives. What a terrible business.

Damaged delivery and no response
We ordered two reclining leather loveseats online and were billed and delivered by Rife's Furniture. We placed the order on April 19th. The delivery was so late. Loveseats came to our house through a third party delivery company on May 15th. Worse yet, one of the loveseats was damaged. I e-mailed and called the sales rep who handled our order. We got one e-mail reply back from him lecturing us on refusing the damaged loveseat. I e-mailed him back two more times but never heard a peep from him again. We just called the store in Oregon and will see if they return our call. This store seems to have some very unprofessional sales staff. I would avoid them from now on.
