Joseph Roman, MD - Primary Care

Joseph Roman, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified in Obesity Medicine. He is a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M, a 2003 graduate of Texas Tech University Medical School and a 2003 graduate of Texas Tech University with an Masters in Business Administration. He completed residency at the University of Oklahoma where he was Chief Resident.

Dr. Roman was led into the medical profession with a desire to help people live fuller and more healthy lives. He chose Internal Medicine as he enjoys interacting adults and felt that he could make a positive impact in their health. He enjoys educating individuals on their disease process and how best to make decisions that benefit their health. He believes that when there is trust between a patient and physician, patients are more likely to take ownership of their health and make changes that will help them live long, healthy lives.

A native of Lake Jackson, TX, Dr. Roman is married with three children. His wife owns Bahama Bucks in College Station and in his free time he calls himself a 'handyman at Bahama Bucks.'
