Marilyn Kwolek, MD

Marilyn Kwolek, MD is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in providing the highest quality dermatological and aesthetic skin care to patients of all ages. From her state-of-the-art practice in Danville, California, Dr. Kwolek has served residents from communities throughout the Contra Costa area for more than 25 years.

As a recognized leader in the field of dermatology, Dr. Kwolek believes that modern dermatological therapy, combined with a collaborative doctor-patient approach, can successfully improve virtually any skin condition. She offers a full menu of clinical and cosmetic skin services, ranging from comprehensive care for medical conditions such as acne and rosacea, to the safest, most advanced cosmetic procedures, including skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction treatments.

With extensive experience treating people of all ages, ethnicities, and skin types, Dr. Kwolek operates from the philosophy that it’s essential to get to know each of her patients and recognize their individual needs. Through her caring medical approach, she strives to help her patients understand exactly what they can expect before, during, and after treatment.

After earning both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Dr. Kwolek went on to complete her internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She did her residency at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she was Chief Resident of Dermatology. She’s a member of the following professional societies:
