Azar Mahmoudi, DDS at Pūr Dentistry is a highly experienced and well-trained practitioner specializing in a wide range of dental conditions. She is proud to carry on the legacy that was started by Dr. John Burkman and is faithfully dedicated to bringing the very best dental care to the people of San Ramon, California.
Fluent in English as well as Farsi, Dr. Azar, as her patients call her, received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors from the prestigious University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Shiraz Medical University in Iran.
With over 24 years of experience in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Azar provides expert care for crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, extractions, non-surgical periodontal treatments, partial and full dentures, and many other treatments. She is also certified in Invisalign care.
Dr. Azar is a proud member of the Tau Kappa Omega honor dental society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. A member of the local community, in her free time Dr. Azar enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, going to the movies, and swimming.
