Exchange Bank proudly serves as Etowah County's only locally owned bank. Since 1909 we have been an active growing part of this community, committed to meeting the needs of the people. This commitment is as strong today as it was over a century ago when we opened our doors as First State Bank of Altoona. We believe in taking an active part of the community because we are a part of it. We live here, work here, and our kids go to schools here. Through the years we have supported many local charities, civic organizations and schools with donation of time and money.
