Blair Flooring began in 1951. John Blair a native Arizonian decided that he wanted to change the way people thought about hardwood flooring in their homes. He knew he had the skill and knowledge. He just had to convince folks that hardwood floors were not only beautiful, but practical and long-lasting.

In 1970, John partnered with his son, Jim to form Blair & Son Floor Company. In 1992, Jim’s son, Johnny, started learning the hardwood floor trade. Johnny worked by his grandfather’s side for 10 years, giving him the knowledge and expertise he needed to continue John’s passion. In 2003, Jim’s daughter, Krissy joined the company sharing the same passion about the hardwood flooring business as her grandfather, father & brother.

Through hard and meticulous work, excellent customer focus, and a true belief that homes in the Pacific Northwest deserve the beauty that hardwood flooring would provide, Blair & Son Floor Company has become the company of choice for those who appreciate the beauty of hardwood flooring.
