Souhail Asfouri, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and provides comprehensive women’s healthcare at Austin Southwest OB/GYN in Austin, Texas. Dr. Asfouri offers extensive experience in the most innovative obstetrics and gynecology care. He uses a unique combination of skill and commitment to improve the health and vitality of thousands of women from the first appointment through menopause.
Dr. Asfouri has a varied and extensive background that provides his patients with the safest, most effective OB/GYN care available and dedicates his life to enhancing his patients’ health. He performs all in-office examinations and procedures, including ultrasounds, to give each patient the time they deserve.
A graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, Texas, Dr. Asfouri completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the prestigious University of Alabama in Birmingham. He contributed his OB/GYN services to various medical centers throughout the United States before settling in Austin. Dr. Asfouri is currently certified by and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
When not assisting his patients, Dr. Asfouri enjoys spending time with his wife, Paula, and their two children, Joey and Julia. He firmly believes in the importance of spending quality time with loved ones and remains consistently available for both his family’s needs, as well as his patients.
