Hyder & Son Safe and Lock is a mobile locksmith company. Family owned, serving the Hill Country – as far as Austin – since 2001. We think of our many customers as friends and are honored that they like us too. Originally located in Buchanan Dam, we moved to Burnet in 2014.

Bret has training, talent and skill as a locksmith beginning at Cothron’s locksmith school in Austin. It was a natural for him. He took to it like …. a key to a keyhole? ….a burglar to a safe? …. a lock to a door? Now he drives all over the place trying to keep up with calls in a timely and professional manor, and still take time to enjoy the good life in the hill country with his many friends.
