Typical use of temporary storage. Lost the job, lost the apartment. Moved stuff in SS II on the 25th of the month. The place was clean and seemed secure. Rates were not the least expensive, but the place was clean... etc. Finally found a job after 8 months. Got the call on the 27th. Had to be on the west coast at the end of the month. Got U-Haul to Space Savers on the 28th, loaded and checked out. Nice lady cleared me out. I mentioned I had just paid for the month forward a couple of days earlier. She said she calculated $85 to be returned to me in a few days or so. Left an forwarding address and went on my way. 2 months later, no money. Made a call. Told my story to a "manager". He said... "no refunds"! I said "but the nice lady said SS II would refund the unused portion of my rental." He said "She doesn't work here any more and it is stamped in big red letters on the original signed contract NO REFUND". Of course, my back copy had no stamp on it. Ain't worth a trip back for $85. So I give them 2 stars for a place that was clean and secure. I'll let you imagine what I give them for their business practices.
