Walter Gracia, MD, PA

ABOUT US
Walter D. Gracia, MD, PA, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than thirty years of experience. His office is conveniently located in the hospital district of Fort Worth, Texas. 
After growing up in Fort Worth, Dr. Gracia went to undergraduate school at Northwestern University before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He trained in General Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.
This was followed by a Hand Surgery fellowship with Lynn D. Ketchum at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The last three years of training were at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and consisted of a one year Burn fellowship followed by a two year Plastic Surgery Fellowship.
To stay up-to-date in his field, Dr. Gracia is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also holds memberships with the American Medical Association, American Burn Association, American Association for Hand Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Fort Worth Surgical Society.
Dr. Gracia was previously voted a “Texas Super Doctor” by Texas Monthly and also volunteers with “Proyecto Huasteco, Sonrisa Alegre” repairing cleft lips and palates of the indigent population of Mexico. Click here to learn more about Dr. Gracia.
