Very kid friendly theater

We suprised our kids (6 and 2) and took them to see Cars at Century Theatres in Oakridge and it was a great experience. There is a convenient snack counter after you give your tickets and walk in (that many people forget about), so it has a shorter line and has most everything that the outside counter has -- this is especially nice when you've got kids in tow. They have booster seats that you can put on top of the theater chairs and that helps the little ones. The theater is clean, family friendly, and a fun treat for the whole family.

Fountain Restaurant Fairmont Hotel San Jose

This breakfast / lunch restaurant is pricey but well worth it!! The food is fresh and innovative. Each entree looks like a work of art. Their Sunday Brunch (~$34) is exquisite!! From fresh seared Ahi Tuna to Eggs Benedict and all that is in between is delicious. Did I mention dessert? Wow!! Don't miss the Tiramisu.

PROS: Fresh ingredients, friendly/ knowledgable servers, pleasant atmosphere
