John Freeman, MD, DDS, FACS

John Freeman, MD, DDS, FACS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon providing high-quality surgical care to adults living in and around Katy, Texas, and throughout Harris County. 

Dr. Freeman earned his dental degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. After graduation, Dr. Freeman obtained his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Before entering private practice, Dr. Freeman completed a general surgery residency and maxillofacial surgery training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, also in Nashville. During that time, he earned multiple awards, including honors for excellence in research and clinical work.

Dr. Freeman performs various types of oral surgery but specializes in reconstructive procedures. To ensure positive treatment outcomes, Dr. Freeman uses cutting-edge operative techniques and up-to-date equipment, allowing quicker recoveries and reducing side effects.

People can access various periodontal services, including the placement and restoration of dental implants, bone grafting, and teeth-in-a-day. Dr. Freeman performs many cosmetic procedures, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, face-lifts, and facial implants. Individuals can also receive treatment for acne scars.

Dr. Freeman performs most procedures on an outpatient basis, but for those who require overnight stays, he makes hospital arrangements.
