Leo Lapuerta, MD, Plastic Surgery

Dr. Lapuerta is a triple board certified plastic surgeon providing advanced procedures for patients throughout Houston. He performs both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at his state-of-the-art surgical facility, the Plastic Surgery Institute of Southeast Texas. Dr. Lapuerta takes great pride in making sure a procedure flatters the entire body, rather than just a single body part. He is skilled to perform breast augmentation, tummy tuck, facelift, hand surgery, liposuction and many other body contouring procedures. A bilingual Texan from San Antonio, Dr. Lapuerta attended Stanford University. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, as well as his residency in general surgery at St. John Medical Center in Detroit. His fellowship training was in plastic and reconstructive surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston.
