Hanson Galleries, voted a “Top Retailer of American Crafts” by NICHE Magazine for 10 years in a row, opened for business in 1977. Our original store featured handcrafted furniture and wood accessories. Over time, we added art glass, jewelry and ceramics to become an up-scale business handling mainly American Fine Crafts.
When in Houston visit us at either of our two locations: the sophisticated Uptown Park or our exciting location in the Memorial City Mall.

Throughout the years we have maintained the practice of featuring art forms of the highest quality and craftsmanship, what we like to call “future heirlooms.” We pride ourselves on our wealth of selection, and often people will say “just get me anything from Hanson Galleries and I will be happy!”

Our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff helps customers select that perfect gift from items created by over 500 artists. Our selection ranges from $15 gift items to breathtaking one-of-a-kind custom art pieces by America’s most talented artists. Our staff is ready to handle your special order needs as well. This website reflects only a small portion of our ever changing collection of merchandise. If you don’t see what you are seeking, just ask.

Hanson Galleries has many special events every year that showcase individual artists trunk shows, group-themed shows such as last year’s OPALMANIA featuring opal jewelry by 12 artists, and local guild shows such as this year’s Houston Metal Artist Guild show named METALICIOUS.

Now Hanson Galleries has a store on the Internet offering our stunning collection to the entire world. We want to make your visit to our website every bit as pleasurable and informative as a visit to one of our two Houston locations. All of the great services our friends and customers have come to expect from Hanson Galleries are now available online.
