Constantine Kotsanis, MD, may be a board-certified otolaryngologist, but his enthusiasm for human health, wellness, and longevity extends far beyond his ENT specialty area. His interest and study of integrative and functional medicine at Kotsanis Institute of Functional Medicine in Grapevine, Texas, stems from his personal experience in searching for a cure for chronic pain, fatigue, and gastrointestinal issues. His research and studies allow him to consider patients’ overall wellness and to think outside the box when it comes to improving their health.
Dr. Kotsanis was born in Greece and moved to Chicago with his family as a teenager. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, Dr. Kotsanis returned to Greece to attend medical school at the University of Athens. He completed his specialty training in otolaryngology at Loyola University of Chicago — where he met his wife, Beverly.
Dr. Kotsanis is committed to continuing to study human health and staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and treatments. He attends conferences regularly and runs in-house clinical trials under Investigational Review Board guidelines, and he shares these often-significant findings with other health professionals. Before offering any new treatment to patients, Dr. Kotsanis completes in-house original research to test the efficacy of new therapies.
