Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

I’ve always had an interest in a combination of cognitive and procedural medicine, so gastroenterology was a good fit of both medicine.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Internal medicine training and fellowship: University of Texas Southwestern.

What certifications do you hold?

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?

Traveling and interacting with my grandchildren as often as possible.
