A Proficient Doctor

Dr Raja has a very good communication style, listens well and can articulate medical jargon in a manner easy to understand for the lay person.

Bad Doctor - Bad Person

We just moved to Texas from California a few months ago and our experiences with Coppell Pediatrics has been absolutely and completely disastrous. The staff, the doctors - everyone one there is rude and unsympathetic. They have terrible bedside manners and are always in a rush. A lot of parents i have spoken to, myself included, do not feel heard at all by the doctors. And lets face it, you are nothing if you are not caring and understanding where children are concerned.
What happened today just makes me livid with anger -
I call at first thing at 8 am when they open to explain my daughter's illness and see if the doctor wants us to come in. I leave a voicemail (as usual) and no one bothers to return my call. I call back at 12pm. They tell me they will call me back after lunch(!!!) At 2pm the nurse calls back but she has completely misunderstood the situation - i fill her in all over again - and she says she will call me back after talking to the doctor. At 3pm my child's condition worsens. I call and explain what is going on and ask if i can bring her in - the nurse tells me that the doctor thinks she needs to be seen but they cannot see her - I am given the phone numbers for two other pediatricians (one in Flower Mound and one in Lewisville).
What the hell kind of doctor refuses to see her own patient sick ?????????
Closing time is at 5 pm. What the hell kind of doctor turns sick children away two hours before closing???
I am a Doctor's wife - i know good medical practice from bad - and this is APPALLING!!!
I urge everyone out there - stay away from this place. They give medicine a bad name.
