Trisha Howard, founder of Blue Calla began her study of Skincare out of her own need to have healthy skin. When Trisha Howard began, her skin looked like leather, with acne, and scarring on her entire face. Upon Trisha getting her Asthetician's License in 1977, she began working in famous and not so famous facial salons. There Trisha learned mostly what not to do. She did learn that the foundation to beautiful skin is removing old, dead, skin cells on a daily basis. In 1984 Trisha along with a seasoned chemist, developed A Specialty Scrub. Friends and family quickly saw a huge difference in Trisha's skin. Her skin was much smoother younger looking and cleaner looking but she did not stop there. Over the years with seasoned chemists a full line was created.
