Great food
This family owned restaurant continues to deliver great, authentic El Salvadorean food. It is similar to Mexican food, of course, but there are subtle differences. I recommend trying this restaurant when you want a change. The service is great as well.

rude servers
I went to happy hour at this location with several friends recently. We were an uncomplicated, easy going group of girls. I was excited to take advantage of Gloria's happy hour, as I have eaten at other locations before and always enjoyed my experience. I will not visit Gloria's on Lemmon Ave again. I asked the waitress if they had a house cabernet and pointed at the happy hour menu. She acknowledged the menu and said yes, they did. When I received the check she had charged me and one of my friends full price for the wine. When we politely asked her about it, she said, they didn't have a house cabernet and that our wine was more expensive. Then she proceeded to flat-out tell us we were wrong. She didn't even consider the option of a miscommunication. She didn't even offer her apologies for what was an obvious miscommunication. She then ignored the fact that we were ready to pay our checks with our cash on the table and near empty drinks while she made atleast a couple of trips to bus the table and take our chips and water. I should point out that the restaurant was not busy and there were several empty tables around us. We eventually did get our change and left without the slightest of gratitude or visit from a manager to resolve what could have been a very minor issue. I'm disappointed that I will have to travel out of my way to another location should I ever choose to dine at Gloria's again.American Express
