Susannah and Zulu Scott-Barnes do an excellent job curating AshBlue into a special place that makes you want to linger longer. AshBlue boasts a 3,000 square foot showroom filled with gifts, furniture, African artifacts, tableware, lighting, scented items, books, frames, clothing, and baby gifts. They carry fabulous accessories you won't find anywhere else, including exclusive jewelry lines, several of which are local.



Before Zulu settled in Nashville, as a professional polo player he lived in Argentina, Brazil, Borneo, England, Ireland, Hawaii, New York, Montana, and Florida. His many travels, contacts, and experiences are reflected in the range of items found at AshBlue.



Susannah has a knack for spying interesting objets d'art. Her eye for style and design has made AshBlue one of Nashville's loveliest stores, synonymous with beautiful craftsmanship and timeless style, since it opened in 2003.
