Nice accessory shop!

This is a very nice and clean auto accessory shop. They carry a very wide variety of import and domestic add on items including euro tail lights and wheels. They are always pretty friendly, and the store is always very very clean. The only drawback is they expect you to actually know something about cars when you walk in there.

PROS: Big Selection/Very clean store
CONS: High Customer Expectations

Over rated and over priced

I have had two experiences with Xtreme Auto Accessories. The first was a couple of years ago when they charged me too much for putting window film on my car and I was too naive at the time to know tinting cost. More recently I had a cold air intake ordered and installed. I can't complain about the cost of the intake system, but installation cost for such a simple install was quite expensive. When I got my car back and got home I realized the the shop had scratched my paint when removing the old intake and putting in the new intake. When I confronted the manager he was almost arrogant in the way he acted toward me. Oh we couldn't have done that. Our mechanic is too good to make a mistake or be so careless. Eventually he conceded and said he would take care of it and have it repaired in Xtremes' detailing department. I left and didn't return. I made a mistake the first time trusting them with putting on my tint thinking I was getting a good price. I should have learned from th

Xtremely Bad Tint Job

I brought my brand new vehicle to Xtreme for a full tint job. I was advised that the tint work was subcontracted out but still done under the Xtreme name and with the alleged integrity all their work is done with. Not so. Within 2 months I have been back to Xtreme 3 times for bubbling, tint cracking and random noises when lowering and raising the windows. On top of all of this, the installer scratched the interior of my vehicle the last time I was there to fix the tint! They told me that whatever parts necessary to fix the interior were ordered and would arrive in 2-3 days. After a full week and promises of return phone calls, I had to call them and insist upon an answer. This is not the type of service I expect to receive from any store, let alone one that deals frequently with high-end vehicles and demands. The guys that work the counter are nice and friendly, but quickly distance themselves from the tint installer. It has just been one headache after another. I certainly w

xtreme auto accessories rip off! please read! dont do business here!

6 years ago I had my Mitsubishi eclipse new 03 taken in there and I got the windows tinted, i was naive and thought i had gotten a great tint job. i paid almost 3 hundred for this job, and i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for but these guys are a joke! I recently took my Nissan Maxima to them(yesterday) to get tint. it was overcast and late, so i took it home. When i woke up, i saw nothing but creases, dirt bubbles, and finger prints! And this is coming from a guy who i called up and he verified all of these things(he has been doing tint for 20 years), i wish i could post a picture on here! so bottom line, i am going to pay him to take it off! I wont let extreme touch any of my cars ever again! not even to fix what they screwed up! Especially in fear of them screwing up my defrost in the back! If they cant even put it on right, how could i expect them to take it off right?

Couldn't Ask For More

I recently had my 2010 Porsche SUV tinted there. At first I was iffy on letting them touch my vehicle due to a previous experience with them in 2007. First I called and asked about the window film. First thing mentioned is that there is a guy there that put's our last installer to shame. Still apprehensive, I made an appearance. I wanted to see for myself. I walk into the store and asked to see him. You could tell instantly that this is a car guy; tattoos everywhere!! I asked him several questions regarding the film, install time, warranties, etc. He answered in the most honest, professional way possible. I let him do it. My Porsche is perfect!! Not one bubble, scratch, scar, nothing. I mean PERFECT!! I took it back to him and let him put the clear paint protection film on it. And thats perfect as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Xtreme has had some awful reviews in the past but this guy definitely made my experience worth while.

BEWARE - BOTCHED FENDER JOB RUINED MY TAURUS

In 2005, I asked the Bartlett store about rolling the inner edges of my rear fenders with a professional fender rim rolling tool. This was to prevent a non-OEM rim set from touching the inner edge of the rear fenders when cornering. I was told they could do exactly what I needed done, with the professional fender rim rolling tool that I asked them about.

When I returned to pick up my 2004 Ford Taurus from their shop, I paid the bill & then went outside to inspect the work performed. I found that the inner edge of my fenders had been cut in several places with a hand grinder, hammered & bent down with pliers. I showed this to the manager and asked why they had butchered my fenders instead of rolling them with a fender rolling tool like I had requested. I told him that they had cut, hammered, and mashed my fenders with pliers and that this would cause the fenders to rust out. I got only excuses and double-talk from him. I asked who owned the store and was not given that information. I told the manager that I would bring quotes from two auto body repair shops to repair the damage they had done. I returned with estimates ( $1100 & $1300 ) and handed them to the manager. He laughed & got smart about it.

I had the fenders repaired, at a cost of $1249 at a body shop in Olive Branch, MS. I still have the car. I consulted with an attorney about this matter but was told that with the manager at Xtreme Auto Accessories willing to lie about what work was requested, there would be little chance of winning a court case for the damages.

I filed a complaint with the Memphis BBB at the time this happened. The complaint is no longer accesible there, as I suppose Xtreme Auto Accessories is no longer a member of the BBB, due to the numerous other complaints posted there about them. And yes, I have the name of the manager who was at Xtreme Auto Accessories at the time, but will not divulge it here.
