If the kids aren't fishing in the creek or splashing in the new water park, they can saddle up at the adjacent Peaceful Valley Stables, owned by your KOA hosts. Even young kids can ride these gentle horses, and the one-hour guided trail ride lets you experience the campground's peaceful country setting. Campsites make the most of the setting, too, with some sunny open sites and others tucked under tall pines. The large lakeside Cabin has two bedrooms, a full kitchen and private deck.
