L. J. Boss Company is a fine jewelry store located in the lobby of One Gateway Center in downtown Pittsburgh. The business is owned by Mike Masters, who began his apprenticeship in 1971 and after learning the trade from Leonard Boss, bought the business in 1986. Mike and his daughter Allison now operate the store. L. J. Boss Company has a wide array of loose diamonds, colored stones, as well as fine jewelry ranging from modern styles to antique estate pieces. If you are looking for something that is truly one-of-a-kind, Mike will work with you to design and create a piece of jewelry to your exact specifications. The custom design process will take your ideas from a sketch, to a wax carving, and finally, to a beautiful piece of finished jewelry. In addition, L. J. Boss Company offers expert repairs and professional appraisals. With a complete workshop on the premises, Mike and Allison are able to do all jewelry repairs and designing on site.
