Luther Woods is one of the few Philadelphia-area skilled nursing homes for patients whose lives have been dramatically altered by an accident or chronic illness. Our private ownership allows us the flexibility to make on-the-spot decisions about the unique needs of our residents, and engenders a pride of ownership that manifests itself in our medical care, therapies, activities, decor, grounds, fine dining and ongoing enhancements. In order to ensure our skilled nursing center provides the quality, compassionate care we endeavor to achieve every day, we regularly survey our residents or their family members on several medical and quality-of-life factors, and are proud to say we have consistently achieved nearly perfect ratings. In addition, we have had many residents decide to stay with us multiple times and we have even welcomed successive generations from the same family who have been impressed by the quality of complex medical care provided at Luther Woods.
