When Roy Goldstein first started Rapco Muffler and Brake Shop on Hunting Park Avenue in North Philadelphia in 1953, he had no idea what an amazing automotive journey he was embarking on. Neither did his twin sons, Michael and Bruce, when they joined the Philadelphia auto repair business in 1974. In the following 60 plus years, Rapco has changed along with the times. We now perform complete auto repair, including tune ups, alignment, oil changes, Pa. state and emissions testing, engine diagnostics, tire replacement, and suspension, air conditioning and electrical repairs in our 2 locations in North Philadelphia and Upper Darby which also services Drexel Hill and Havertown in Delaware County. Our Philadelphia location also has a line of truck and auto accessories. Bruce Goldstein retired in September, leaving his twin brother Michael at the helm. Mike will be working alongside his son Jason, the 3rd generation of the Goldstein family running the shop. Roy Goldstein would be so proud.
