Very reasonable prices, quality work
Quality work, good prices especially with their internet coupons specials for oil changes, A/C service (I took advantage of both), very fair hourly rate for labor too (for when I needed a new muffler). Friendly staff, nice big office with a kids play area even. Good place to call if you're on a budget, avoid the shoddy work of the chain auto places, with a matching/cheaper price to boot. Availability can be frustrating though, generally they only accept cars dropped off in the morning.

Wouldn't Go Back
I found the service to not be very customer orientated as they just flew through the items they wanted to fix without providing much explanation. The hours of operation also are not very convenient.

Hometown Auto has good mechanics
We take our cars here and have always been satisfied with the service as well as the cost of repair. I've never felt cheated here or overcharged. There is a children's play area, which is nice for my little ones.

Cheats
I have been taking my car here for nearly two years, and I have to double-check every single repair they say I need. Today, they told me my entire exhaust sytem was corroded and had to be replaced. For the first time, I just accepted it. When I paid, it was a ripoff!! It cost twice what other garages cost, and the brand new muffler sounded NO DIFFERENT from the old one! This place lies about the necessary repairs in order to get your $$!!
