Western Psychological & Counseling Services has locations in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gladstone, Gresham, Portland and Tigard Oregon as well as Vancouver Washington so that every zip code is covered within 15 miles. Western clinical offices offer morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday appointments. We were established in 1986 to provide quality outpatient behavioral health services including Chemical Dependency, EAP and Psychiatric services in a cost-effective manner. Western is committed to providing prompt appointments and accessibility. We are contracted with most insurance companies and managed care companies. Additionally, as a State-certified mental health agency in Oregon, Western serves Oregon Health Plan clients. With over 120 clinicians working at Western, we offer a variety of specialties so each level of license is represented. Western employs Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Professional Counselors and Chemical Dependency Counselors. In 2002, 2003 and 2004, Western was awarded the Lambert Award from PacificCare. This award is given to the groups or individuals within the entire Pacific Care network of providers that demonstrate quality services to the Pacific Care clients.
