Slate Run Vineyard Winery

Slate Run Vineyard is a small farm winery that was opened in 1997 by Keith and Leslie Pritchard. Keith, an avid amateur winemaker since 1981, started planting grapes in 1985 to support his experimental winemaking pursuits. Quickly realizing that he planted too many grapes, Keith started selling them to other amateur winemakers and small wineries. By 1994, facing aging, burnout, and a wife that wanted to see him, Keith came to the realization that opening a winery would allow him to utilize all the skills and education that he developed previously in life.
Named for a small nearby creek, Slate Run Vineyard is in central-Ohio, southeast of Columbus. We welcome you to visit us, to taste any of our 16 proprietary wines, and to purchase some to take home. We can also ship wine, but only within Ohio.
