Dr. Lou Kessel is the founder of Kessel Wellness Center, centrally located in the beautiful Murray Hill section of Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Kessel is a wellness consultant and a leading chiropractor in the area.  He specializes in natural and preventative healthcare which can eliminate pain and maximize energy. Dr. Kessel provides services such as massage therapy, nutrition consultation, orthotic fitting, rehabilitation care, sports medicine, stress management, and weight loss help.
Dr. Kessel attended Penn State University and Fairleigh Dickenson University, where he received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Physics respectively. He earned his doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from the New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Kessel holds professional licenses which include New York Chiropractic License, New Jersey Chiropractic License, and a Florida Chiropractic License. Dr. Kessel holds membership with the International Chiropractic Association, the Manhattan District of the Chiropractic Council, and the Foundation for Wellness Professionals.
Striving for excellence, Dr. Kessel regularly attends postgraduate seminars on several health topics and techniques such as the neck, mid-back, and low back pain, fibromyalgia, stress reduction, sports injuries, detoxification, and nutritional support.
Dr. Kessel’s works to offer optimal health by detecting and reducing or removing a nervous system dysfunction using vertebral subluxation. As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Doctor, Dr. Kessel focuses on physical fitness and exercise. He provides chiropractic care to maximize athletic conditioning and performance.
