Dr. Marina Margolin is a family physician with more than 22 years of experience. She provides compassionate and comprehensive medical care at Universal Family Medicine serving New York City and surrounding communities with two convenient locations in the Financial District of Downtown Manhattan and Forest Hills, Queens.
She earned her medical degree from Moscow State Medical University and completed her residency in Family Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in New York.
Dr. Margolin is a kind and caring doctor and is dedicated to providing excellent care to each and every patient. Her practice focuses on quality of care over quantity of patients. The office has late evening hours and provides boutique services with individual attention and concerns for patients.

Our office provides a full spectrum of evaluation and treatment including ultrasound, allergy testing and treatment, pain management, trigger point injections, and IV infusions for vitamin deficiency, chronic fatigue, detox, and other medical conditions, Nerve Conduction Study (Pinched Nerve test), EKG, and Holter monitor (24 hours heart monitoring), and Pulmonary Function test (evaluation for asthma).

Be very careful scheduling the appointment with this doctor, unless you're about to die, then it's the right option) When you call the office they never tell you specifically which insurances she contracted with, in fact she is out of network for most of them. They just take all of your info and promise to call you back, the reason for that is that they want to check your deductible out of network. She hopes she would schedule tons of unnecessary testing for you and cover the deductible as well as making some profit. If you refuse to attend worthless tests ( they have a cardiologist in the office and they scheduled my 20 y.o son to do some cardio tests.....) then she becomes angry because it means she is not getting paid for the visit, basically the payment from insurance company will go directly to towards your deductible, then she is nasty enough to just send you the bill for the visit. Now imagine your surprise.... You were sure you went to the doctor who is in network with your insurance, you PAID YOU CO-PAYMENT ( which you didn't have to pay since she was out of network) and now you have a bill for $700-800 in the mail... I was just furious and so upset! And nobody could help me, my insurance company told me I'm responsible to make sure the doctor I'm about to see accepts my insurance, which I did!! I was lied to!! But nobody believed me! She doesn't stop there and if you refuse to pay she has no problem of selling your case to the collection agency and ruin your credit score forever!!!!!! Btw her husband lost his license in NY, you can google it!!!! His name is Vladimir Margolin if I'm not mistaken... Now the only thing I could do is to write these countless reviews and let you guys know about her being a schemer and a poor excuse for a doctor....shame on her!
