​I’m a trusted and compassionate psychiatrist who guides patients to transcend emotional suffering and adversity as an opportunity for awakening and self expansion. Through nonjudgmental and collaborative care, my life's work is dedicated to work with patients in a therapeutic partnership to not only relieve pain, but transcend their emotional suffering to find life meaning and purpose. I am passionate in working with patients to expand their creativity as a way to find happiness and fulfillment. Working with the unconscious process in the therapeutic relationship, through dreams and free association, dysfunctional processes are illuminated and changed.

In addition to having traditional psychiatric training, I have more than a decade of international and national spiritual training which includes mindfulness techniques and daily meditation. I view adversity and illness, not from a place of victimhood, but as an opportunity for expanded awareness. I am passionate about what can be learned from the intersection of psychotherapy and spirituality.

In practice for over 29 years, I work with adults and adolescents strive to find happiness and fulfillment. Each person dictates what mode of therapy is indicated. Through nonjudgmental and collaborative care, my life work is dedicated to work with you to relieve and transcend emotional suffering through self exploration, dialogue, reflection, and medication when appropriate.
