21st Century Dermatology: Robin Borkowsky Rubell, MD, FAAD

Robin Borkowsky Rubell, MD, FAAD, and the experienced staff at 21st Century Dermatology in New York City recognize that there are many criteria by which patients choose a doctor.  Dr. Borkowsky Rubell and her caring staff work together as a team to be responsive, supportive, and understanding of each patient's individual needs.   Dr. Borkowsky Rubell believes that each patient’s journey begins when the appointment is made.  This office philosophy starts from the moment the patient calls and speaks directly with a knowledgeable staff member.  At 21st Century Dermatology, there is no central call center so you will always be greeted by a person intimately associated with the office.  Here you will find the ideal blend of old-fashioned caring along with modern medicine.  Each and every patient is treated as an individual, not simply a number.   To that end, patients are always met by a warm smile when they enter the office.  It is at that time that the patient realizes how rare and special it is to be treated in an intimate boutique office setting.
Dr. Borkowsky Rubell and her staff listen to patients so they can fully understand and address not only their dermatology needs but their emotional needs as well. They recognize the importance of keeping men and women informed about their health issues and look forward to meeting their New York area patients.  
Dr. Borkowsky Rubell's education and medical training include a business degree with Honors from the University of Michigan, a master’s in Nutrition from Columbia University, and a medical degree from New York Medical College where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York City and then went on to complete her dermatology residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
Dr. Borkowsky Rubell is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.   In addition to her dermatology practice, she is also affiliated with the New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center and the Lenox Hill Hospital.
