About Dr. Xenophontos
Xenophon P. Xenophontos, MD, FACS, FSVS, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon and founder of a state-of-the-art adult vascular medicine practice in Garden City, New York, in Nassau County. Dr. Xenophontos is dual board-certified in general and vascular surgery.
Dr. Xenophontos began his journey to his medical career as an undergraduate student at The City College of New York in New York City, where he graduated with distinction. Dr. Xenophontos earned his medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He rounded out his postdoctoral training with a surgery residency followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in the Bronx, New York City. 
Dr. Xenophontos, who is fluent in English and Greek, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the board of directors of the Brooklyn and Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He is also an active member of numerous medical societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the Eastern Vascular Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Medical Society.
When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Xenophontos enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters.
