George Tu, MD, FCCP, DABSM

Dr. Tu has been practicing as a pulmonologist at The Lung Center of Nevada since 2000. He also serves as Director of the Critical Care and Immediate Past Chief of Staff at Summerlin Hospital. In June 2015, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) and The Lung Center of Nevada joined forces creating an entire division dedicated to lung disease and sleep disorders at CCCN.

As part of Lung Center of Nevada, a division of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, Dr. Tu treats patients with lung disease and sleep disorders including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, chronic cough, nicotine dependence, snoring, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Tu is currently Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and has written and contributed to several peer-reviewed manuscripts, publications and abstracts. He has received numerous awards and honors including Medical Marvels by Nevada Business Magazine, Top Doctors by Vegas Seven and Vegas Inc. Health Care Quarterly. Additionally, he has received Outstanding Clinical Fellow Award for excellence in teaching patient care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, John Franklin Award for excellence in internal medicine and Eastern Virginia Medical School Alumni Association Award.
