Try it!
A great place to go if your trying Indian food for the first time. A wide selection of dinners, or try their lunch buffet. Good atmosphere and service.

good restaurant
this restaurant, at the not noticable place on carlisle, just south of indian school, is actually as good as india palace, though of less fame. it offers buffet in the noon and dinner in the evening, as most of the other indian restaurant do. but what makes it special is the meet ball. indians don't cook beef, they don't like pork either. lamb is the last choice. a perfectly stewed lamb in great curry masala source can bring you the real taste of south asis. go for a try, buffet is prefered in the beginning, after you find your favorite, go for a real meal in the evening.

Unique Experience
This place has very unique cuisine but the atmosphere is inviting and the service was fast and friendly. The curry was a bit overpowering at first but it was still a great experience. I can't remember what my sister ordered for me but it was delicious and I would definitely like to revisit.

Great Service, Great Food, Great Prices!
I've eaten here a lot and still one of my absolute favorites here in Albuquerque. The food is always delicious, for veggies and non-veggies alike. The Mango Lassi is divine! I've been there with a crowd of 8 teenagers and just a quiet evening out with my boyfriend and it's always delightful. The service is amazing and the host is so amiable. She's a real sweetheart. It's very nicely decorated inside and the wine bottle chandelier in the lower dining area is neat and eclectic. The prices are superb for the service and quality of food. From the outside you wouldn't expect it to be such a wonderful place.

Review from an East Indian!
the food is not as good as the other two indian restaurants, namely Bombay grille and India palace in albuquerque, the service was rude, the waiter literally threw the bill at me, if you want good authentic indian food, you will be dissapointed.

what is it people like about this place?
Went here on a Sunday and had the Buffet. Seating and Waitstaff were very poorly organized. The food was lukewarm, which is not good for a buffet. It tasted pretty decent but got cold very quickly so really wasnt enjoyable. Waited 10-15 minutes for someone to refill our drinks, finally got up and headed for the pitchers ourselves where we were intercepted by the hostess who refilled our glasses. I had to use to go to the bathroom from the food, while in the stall I noticed vommit sprayed on the walls of the stall, then I noticed chunks of it covering the drainhole in the floor. Obviously someone had cleaned this up but did a very poor job of it, just like with everything else...

Best Indian Cuisine in NM!
This restaurant has the most amazing food. I have been a customer there for years, and always bring my friends who have become regulars now too. My favorite dish is the Murg Saagwala, but everything is amazing.
