Donato Russo

Donato Russo, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team. Dr. Russo has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of OB/GYN medicine, including delivering more than 4,000 babies to date. He offers the full range of perinatal care and office-based procedures whenever possible, including office hysteroscopy to treat abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Russo is a proponent of preventive medicine and the education, routine care, and early detection it employs to reduce the risk of disease and disability. As an immigrant to the United States, Dr. Russo prioritizes quality time with his patients, and he’s gratified by being able to help women from pregnancy to delivery and with their ongoing health and wellness.

Dr. Russo is an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Fellow whose research has included the correlation between in vitro and high-risk pregnancy. In addition, he has a strong interest in community education regarding heavy menstruation and pain associated with menstruation.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Russo enjoys handiwork around the house, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical, as well as golfing.
