My next of kin was not adequately supervised at this cramped, understaffed facility. She fell from her bed to the floor, landing face down. We do not know how long she lay there, but from former visits by friend and family, we know that half an hour with no one visiting the room is quite possible. The staff doctors do not keep in touch with our family, although the patient cannot communicate on her own. The administrators are adamant about keeping our friend here, though we and her Hackensack University Hospital physicians want to send her back there. Very negative experience here.
