Kenneth Kohagen, MD

Dr. Kohagen earned his B.A. in Biology in 1984 and his medical degree in 1988 from Case Western Reserve University. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency from Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1991, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship in 1994 from the University of Michigan. Dr. Kohagen joined Raleigh Internal Medicine in 1994 and became a founding partner of Digestive Healthcare PA in 2000. He specializes in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas, with special interest in liver diseases. Dr. Kohagen is known as a specialist among specialists in the management of many common and complicated liver diseases. His many accolades include being designated as one of the Best Doctors in North Carolina.
