Arthritis & Osteoporosis Consultants of the Carolinas (AOCC) was founded in 2000 when Drs. Ahmad Kashif and Gary Maniloff working at the Nalle Clinic and Drs. Robert Kipnis and Andrew Laster of Presbyterian Healthcare Associates joined to establish an independent rheumatology practice. Combining years of experience in private practice, academic teaching and clinical research, we were excited about the ability to translate what we learned into a clinic setting that would provide highly individualized and state-of-the-art care. Dr. Charles Seehorn joined our practice in 2002 after completing his Fellowship at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. In 2006, Dr. Alan Elliott joined the group after completion of his rheumatology fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill. The addition of Dr. Elliott has allowed AOCC to continue its commitment to providing timely evaluation and treatment of patients with rheumatic disease. Healthcare Plans:
