Jefferson M Sims DMD

Dr. Jefferson Sims has been helping patients achieve beautiful smiles and optimal oral health since 1987, providing all phases of General, Esthetic, and Restorative dental care to thousands of patients.

Dr. Sims is proud to practice Functional Esthetic Dentistry, which is a type of dentistry that is becoming recognized as a “step ahead of cosmetic dentistry”. Functional Esthetic Dentistry not only gives patients a great smile, but a functional one too, for long-lasting comfort, health and appearance.

In 2008, a board of independent evaluators from the Consumer’s Research Council of America (Wash. D.C.) selected Dr. Sims as one of America’s Top Dentists for Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Sims has been recognized by Charlotte Magazine as one of Charlotte’s “Top Dentists” for the last several years. He is also a member of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, an invitation-only organization dedicated to the highest clinical and ethical standards in prosthetic and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Sims graduated from Dental School at the University of Pittsburgh; attended a hospital residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center; and completed advanced education at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. Dr. Sims continues to passionately study the latest dental research and techniques through continuing education, incorporating these advanced concepts into his practice for the benefit of his patients. Dr. Jefferson Sims lives in Cornelius, North Carolina with his wife Daniela and their daughter.
