What to Expect during Your First Visit
From your first visit through your recovery, we want to make your treatment as painless as possible, in every possible way.
BEFORE YOU COME
Your visit starts before you even step into our office.
From our website, you can request an appointment, access and complete your medical forms, including your medical history, keeping your visit focused on how we can help you manage your pain.
ONCE YOU RE HERE
You will find our staff is pleasant and will often greet you by name. Don t expect to wait very long either we pride ourselves on getting patients to see Dr. Hamilton promptly.
IN THE EXAM ROOM
Dr. Hamilton will ask you questions about your pain and any previous treatments. He ll then complete a thorough orthopedic and neurological examination. If you suffer from joint pain, be sure to wear loose clothing, so he can exam your joints.
YOUR TESTS
Dr. Hamilton will order the tests he needs to better diagnose your pain and design a treatment plan. This may include X-rays, MRI or CT scans, bone scans, nerve blocks and blood tests.
FOLLOW UP
After Dr. Hamilton has reviewed your test results, he ll meet with you again to discuss your treatment plan and options.
