Would Not Recommend

I stayed with Today's Life longer than I should have because there was one teacher that was fabulous and the price was right. However, my instincts told me the place was not safe due to poor management. It is family run but by the time I left it was apparent that the family was concerned so much with keeping tuition down and still making a good profit that it was cutting as many corners as it could with staffing. This meant not meeting licensing ratios and also using aids for long periods of time with too many kids. It is unfortunate that this program is poorly run because they have a nice facility, great spanish/english exposure, and a great playground. However, I could not say it is a safe place. Children are fed as fast as possible due to low staffing, bottles are propped, children are put in crib awake (to contain them in order manage number of children), no one is in room when babies are being changed, and children are not always strapped into equipment.Lastly, a lesson I learned

DO NOT GO TO THIS DAYCARE!!!

We strongly urge everyone not to consider TodayÃ¢Â€Â™s Life for daycare needs. TodayÃ¢Â€Â™s Life has two locations in the Twin Cities: Bloomington and Eden Prairie. Although our experience is with the Eden Prairie location, they are owned and operated by the same person(s).

Our infant attended TodayÃ¢Â€Â™s Life for a little over two weeks and during that time we had numerous problems and witnessed several State violations. Unlike all other daycare centers, at TodayÃ¢Â€Â™s Life the family has to provide all food and milk (yes, even whole milk) while your child is in the infant program (up to 16 months old). This alone is abnormal compared to all other daycare centers in the Twin Cities. The families have to provide all food for the infants, including snacks, and the containers the food arrives in are returned to the family each night still dirty. TodayÃ¢Â€Â™s Life refuses to wash any containers, bottles and/or sippy cups. Apparently the weekly tuition of $289.00 isnÃ¢Â€Â™t enough to expect the

Hello Parents,

We were made aware this morning by one of our parents of the two negative reviews posted here by both Anonymous A. and Anonymous.

I just would like everyone to know, as you are entitled to and that it's only fair to us, that both these parents crossed the line here at the center, violated our rules, policies and had mild verbal behaviors towards the staff.
Neither one of these parents have real and true knowledge of Rules 9503 and its complexity of use and are only assuming when making those assumptions, remarks and statements.

The not so surprising fact here is that both of them had their enrollment immediately terminated without prior notice two months apart by the center and were asked not to come back!

Their departure from the center was not their decision but ours.

However, we wish them and each their child, which we miss, the best.

Fine Learning Center

Hello, I am a mother of a toddler and a pre-schooler at Today's Life. Both my children started with Today's Life when they were infants and have progressed through the classrooms. We are all happy to be at Today's Life for the following reasons:
- The Directors of the center truly care about the children's well-being and development. They listen to parents concerns and work with us to bring the best care possible for the children. My children feel included as well as appreciate others.
- The location is ideal for us.
- The Directors and teachers stay current on early childhood standards. The staff is flexible and tries to accomodate different needs. We enjoy the programs that foster community and communication among parents and with staff.
- My pre-schooler has just graduated from TL and is going to the International School of Minnesota. Although young for her age group, her assessment resulted very solid, due to a good foundation started with TL.

We Do recommend this center!

Our Family has been extremely happy with Today's Life Learning Center since we began sending our children there 2 1/2 years ago. We found ourselves needing to find a daycare for our 2 children in one week. The flexibility, cost, cleanliness, and loving manner of the staff are some of the qualities that led us to chose Today's Life. The staff's interactions with our children, and the genuine kindness they show towards them every day, have exceeded our expectations. Each teacher at Today's Life has shining qualities they bring to the classrooms, and we have thoroughly enjoyed each one of them! Each age group focuses on learning-appropriate activities for that age, and it's amazing how much our children have learned! One of the most important things to us was that our children loved going to their daycare, and they have LOVED going to Today's Life every day we have brought them there! It is a wonderful, nurturing place that we would recommend to anyone!

Love this Facility & the Teachers

My family loves this day care and cannot recommend it any higher than it being one of the best we've seen. I first had my daughter at another daycare and never felt the warm familial connection as I do here with her caregivers, including the director. Not to mention, the exposure to other languages/cultures due to the teachers that is offered here.... that experience in and of itself is PRICELESS.

I also want to state the fact that whenever I have had any kind of concern (which has been on rare occasions), no matter how small, the director and the teacher were there to be sure that it was WELL taken care of. No hesitation, no pointing fingers. They are there to make sure your child is cared for and loved.

Finally, this child care facility is wonderful. I am currently expecting my second child and hope to enroll him as well for the sheer education/cultural exposure this fabulous place has to offer.
