Van Guilder's

Van Guilder's Goldsmith is located in the heart of downtown Edina's 50th and France neighborhood. Van Guilder's was founded in 1984 at Riverplace in Minneapolis and later moved to its current location in 1991. Martin, who emmigrated to the US from the Netherlands, previously owned Martin's Jewelry and did work for retail jewelers around the state of Minnesota. As a master goldsmith, Martin quickly gained recognition for his skill and craftsmanship in design and jewelry repair. Barbara, his wife, joined him as the buyer and sales woman and later his daughter, Lisa, graduated from the Gemological Institution of America (GIA) and also joined the business.
