Signs are an integral part of our environment. We see signs where we work, live and play. We use signs to communicate, to provide information and identification, and to move traffic in a safe and efficient manner. Well delineated and quality manufactured signs enable people to move freely through unfamiliar environments. Inter Sign National LLC prides itself on its ability to efficiently and effectively provide these services in the upmost professional manner.

It all began with a vision. In 1969, Gilbert Bloch, our founder, opened Maryland Stamp and Sign Company in Baltimore. He realized the importance of quality signs and the integral part they play in the way we communicate. Gil knew that a coordinated sign system projects a professional image and creates a smooth functioning environment. As the sign division of Maryland Stamp and Sign Company expanded, Gil believed a new distinct identity was necessary. In 1979, Inter Sign National, Inc. was born.

ISN is a family owned and operated business. In 1986 Gil's daughter, Lisa Lisberger and son-in-law, Bernie Lisberger joined the business. From 1986-2007 Gil, Lisa and Bernie brought their individual expertise in various facets of the business and developed a successful operation known today as Inter Sign National, LLC (ISN). As a family owned business, ISN offers its customers the continuity and dedication required to serve their needs now, and in the future.

Today, the family owned business continues to operate with the plant located in Baltimore, MD. Lisa along with her husband Bernie and all of their dedicated employees operate ISN in the same spirit and philosophies that her father instituted when he started the business over 40 years ago. ISN manufactures everything custom made to order and enjoy being challenged. We are looking forward to make your next sign project a success.
