The owner, Stuart, started the Alarm Doctor out of the back of a used Dodge passenger van. Stuart worked for another alarm company for five years and through widening differences in core values with the company’s owner, he decided to strike out on his own. It’s now 1988, he’s out of work, terrified, and unsure how he’s going to feed two brand new babies. He knocks on the first stranger's door. It is 1989. Refueled with 90 new patients serviced and enrolled and many-many more installs and service calls scheduled, Stuart had to find a name quick. He went to visit his old friend Jerry to brainstorm ideas. Would you believe when he looked up he saw a brand new sign which read “The Lock Doctor"? Alarm Doctor is born. 28 plus years later we are strong and ready to service and install almost anything that you can throw at us.
