Dr. Smith earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated magna cum laude and was nominated to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He went on to attend Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC, where he received a degree in dental surgery and furthered his education with specialty training in the area of functional jaw orthopedics.
Dr. Smith has earned an average of over 45 continuing education credits per year in specialty areas of dentistry, including endodontic therapy (root canals), periodontics (gum therapy), TMD (jaw dysfunction), and cosmetic dentistry. As a maxillofacial and facial aesthetics expert, he’s also certified in the use of Botox® and dermal fillers.
