Your Story Events

Here is a little bit of my story to help you decide if I’m the right person to help you tell yours…
I started my adult life wanting to act, I was doing a Foundation in Theatre Arts at a well-known drama school when I decided I didn’t want to take to the stage and would rather be backstage making the magic happen. Following this, I went to complete a Degree in Arts and Event Management in Bournemouth, graduating in 2012. One of the highlights of my degree was completing an Internship in New York City with the production agency that runs Tribeca Film Festival.
I have been working in the events industry ever since, working on corporate events, gala dinners, weddings and parties, and working with a high-end luxury caterer. I fell in love with working on weddings, and when I got married in 2017; I planned the most amazing day full of happy, unforgettable memories and I wanted to give others to experience the same feeling. I completed a Diploma in Wedding and Event Planning and Design in order to follow my dream and start up my own wedding planning business - Your Story Events was born.
I want to tell my couples' story, and give them a magical wedding day and have the best time planning it. I know what it's like to be in your shoes. Over 10 years in the industry I have gained invaluable knowledge and insights working on events from 20 to 500 guests. I plan and design weddings and special events in London, the home counties, and all over the UK. I am passionate about giving my couples a joyful and relaxing planning experience while creating a celebration unique to your personalities and love story.
