Nourished Not Deprived

Here's the Nourished story, and we think it's pretty special

Growing up as the only child of two disabled parents exposed me early on to the challenges of limited income, ongoing illness, and persistent pain. Now my parents, are beautiful people, but were handed a very poor stick at life. Unfortunately, this led to growing up in an environment that was not always, let’s call it ‘pretty’ or ‘easy’. Resultantly, in order to cope with these circumstances my brain did what many brains do, and decided to concentrate on what it could control, food & my body. This led me down a personal journey with the eating disorder Bulimia Nervosa, my very first fight for my life.
