Dr. Kariuki is fellowship-trained and board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He specializes in the management of endocrine disorders, including thyroid disorders, diabetes mellitus (including insulin pump therapy), pituitary dysfunction, adrenal disorders, hypogonadism, calcium disorders and metabolic disorders of the bone. When time permits, Dr. Kariuki plays violin as a member of nationally acclaimed community orchestras. For decades, he has also delivered several recitals on the pianoforte.
