Matvey Tsivian, MD

Dr. Matvey Tsivian is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologic oncologist. Dr. Tsivian graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Bologna Medical School in Italy, followed by an internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center. He then completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to joining MUSC Health in 2024, Dr. Tsivian was an Assistant Professor of Urology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Tsivian is quadrilingual, with a fluency in English, Hebrew, Russian, and Italian. He has published numerous articles related to urologic cancers and participates in many genitourinary oncology clinical trials. Dr. Tsivian is the Director of the Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
